We are glad to report we had a great board meeting and have made a few changes for the 2012 POHA season. We hope you will agree with us that the changes will be for the better. Over the next week all our pages will be update with the 2012 class sheet, schedule and new bylaws. We encourage you to read over all of these to be clear on each item. We have made some class changes, how our awards will be calculated for the 2012 season and a volunteer opportunity to save you money.  Patterns for the classes will now be posted the Friday before the show for you to print a copy if you would like.  We will not be handing out pattern books this year.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at contactus@showpoha.com



Palmetto Open Horse Show Association strives to provide fair and professional competition for all horsemen and horsewomen of all ages and to encourage good sportsmanship, horsemanship and comradery among all persons with love for horses.

The goal of Palmetto Open Horse Show Association is to try to offer classes that complement our local exhibitor's riding interests.  We want to promote a friendly and fun show atmosphere, all while encouraging good sportsmanship and provide a show environment conductive to learning and improving our horsemanship skills.  We want all of our members in the association to feel like they have a voice and their input is valued, because it really is important to us. We also understand that money is right for everyone right now due to the economy, so we want to make showing as affordable as possible for each family by offering an all-day show fee of $50 for pre-registration or $55 day of the show for our exhibitors.

This is a great place to start showing with your family or your new horse.  There is a schooling area for warm up and stalls are available.  Our shows will run in three of the arenas at Riverbend Equestrian Center.  Our shows will be one a month from March thru October starting at 10 am.
